It's International Scrapbooking Day!

Mike Merritt • Apr 03, 2018

Each year on March 4th, International Scrapbooking Day celebrates the popular hobby of scrapbooking. Local scrapbooking clubs across the world host their own festivities, seminars, fairs, contests and demonstrations in celebration of the annual occasion. More importantly, this day provides the perfect opportunity for you to get organized!

Take a look around your home. Do you seem to collect any of the following?

  • Loose family photos of babies, birthday parties, weddings and other personal events
  • Ticket stubs from concerts, theatre shows, plays or movies
  • Clippings from newspapers or magazines

If so, scrapbooking may be a hobby you’d like to pursue. The true essence of scrapbooking is the idea of preserving pieces of personal history. Such memories shouldn’t be forgotten in boxes and piles of clutter. There’s always value in organizing important pieces of your past. So consider celebrating International Scrapbooking Day by organizing your memorabilia!
