Watch Your Depth!

When organizing a space try to match the depth of the shelf to the depth of your product. Resist the temptation to get the deepest shelf possible. You want to easily get to what you're looking for. With a deep shelf, too often, what you want gets buried and you have to dig for it.

When you can't match the depth properly, place smaller items in a tub or basket. Make sure to group similar items together. If you want to make it easy as possible, label the tub.
