Something to help make your decision a little easier is a grassroots non-profit project hitting communities across the country called Swap for Good. You might have already heard of clothing swaps, which have gained popularity during our current recession. Swap for Good adds a spin to this concept turning your swap into a fundraiser to help those in need.

Host a Swap for Good in your community and invite your friends and neighbors to bring items from their home that they would like to swap. Raise donations at the door for a local shelter you’d like to support.
