Jerry's closet is a common challenge of a reach-in closet. His closet is almost 7' wide with an effective area less than 4'. How do you make this usable?

He complained about not being able to reach all the clothes easily, he can only get to about half of his hanging easily. Also, he wanted better way to store his sweaters than in an enclosed box.

Our solution is to turn this reach-in closet into a walk-in. We are going to accomplish this by turning the hanging to run front to back in the outside corners and add a shelf tower with drawers in the center. He will end up with 8' of hanging, 4 drawers and 8' of shelving for sweaters and folded clothes. The top drawer will give him space to store his check book and other personal items. The bottom three drawers give him space for socks, underwear and t-shirts.
